Nuremberg,  Germany, 3  February 2015. prisma  informatik  GmbH  from Nuremberg  will  present  NAVdiscovery,  the  Qlik  toolbox  that  is  also compatible  with  the  recently  released  NAV  2015,  at this  year’s CeBIT. NAVdiscovery allows  one  of  the  world’s  leading  business  intelligence platforms – the  Qlik  line  of  products – to  be  quickly  and  conveniently integrated  with  Microsoft  ERP.  With  NAVdiscovery,  both  QlikView  and Qlik  Sense  can  be  connected  to  Dynamics  NAV.  In  addition,  any  kind  of analysis  (or  analysis  view)  can  be  integrated  into  the  ERP  system’s interface. In this way, Qlik components can be embedded into any level of Dynamics  NAV.  Available  analysis  options  are  able  to  be  considerably expanded in the simplest of ways.

According  to  Claudius  Malue,  Managing  Director  of  prisma  informatik, there are many advantages of the self-service BI solution in combination with  Microsoft  Dynamics  NAV.  “By  integrating  Qlik solutions,  Dynamics NAV can offer practically unlimited analysisoptions. Users can request a specific  analysis  without  turning  to  the  IT  department  for  support.  Data can  be  evaluated  in  any  number  of  ways  and  analyzed  independently, such   that   the   user   is   no   longer   limited   to   ready-made   analysis frameworks.  Qlik  Sense also  offers  options  for  creating  different  views, reports, and dashboards simply by dragging and dropping.”

As  a  Qlik  partner,  prisma  informatik  already  offers  powerful  options  for simplifying work when integrating systems, particularly for Dynamics NAV. In stark contrast to other connector solutions, NAVdiscovery does not rely on   ready-made   scripts,   but   rather   creates   them   directly   from   the  corresponding NAV environment. This process automatically accounts for customizations in ERP data, as well as customer-specific extensions and modifications of Qlik data models.
One  of  the  other  special  features  is  NAVdiscovery’s  grouping  function, which  makes  it  possible  to  completely  restructure  ERP  data  for  analysis purposes,  without  needing  to  add  extensions  within Dynamics  NAV.  The desired  dimensions  can  be  reconfigured  at  any  time,  depending  on individual requirements.

The toolbox also includes various application layouts with which the user in  a  particular  department  can  immediately  work  or  that  can  also  be modified or expanded as needed. Basic templates are designed based on previously generated scripts and can also be flexibly configured.
