The PI Conteksto app from prisma informatik optimizes the management and use of text blocks in Business Central. Among other things, it offers more formatting options than the standard version.
Nuremberg, 26.06.2024 - Keeping all tasks on schedule in the stressful everyday business world is a regular challenge for many companies. Dynamics 365 Business Central already offers helpful functions to reduce the time required - especially for recurring work processes. For example, documents can be created and processed quickly and easily by using (automated) text blocks.
The PI Conteksto app developed by prisma informatik optimizes the use and management of these text blocks and offers additional functionalities compared to the standard. For example, the app makes it particularly easy to insert and manage longer pre- and post-texts (e.g. order conditions or general terms and conditions) in Business Central documents.
Unlike the Business Central standard, the app can also be used to maintain text blocks at line level - for example for individual resources or items - and for customers. PI Conteksto also offers more formatting options (e.g. “bold”) than are available in the standard.
In addition to the simple addition of personal salutations and farewells, the module can also be used to adapt documents such as quotations and orders to each individual customer using individual pre- and post-texts. Moreover, more detailed descriptions of the items can be added to the document lines, for example.
Simple administration and automatic use
The standard texts created can be maintained via the document text list. If the “Automatic Texts” setting is selected, these are automatically inserted into new documents. The texts can also be added to the document manually.
PI Conteksto reduces the maintenance effort for standard texts enormously thanks to the central administration and comprehensive usage options. With the option of defining special time periods for automatic texts, these can also be maintained with great foresight. Different texts can also be defined for different responsibility centers (e.g. pick-up instructions for different locations).
An option for entering messages, which is also only available via the app, can also be used to provide organizational support for employees.
