PI Down Payments

Seamless integration of down payment management in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

The PI Down Payments module was developed to manage down payments in project and commercial orders (sales) within the ERP application Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The solution provides the technical basis and corresponding functionalities to handle down payment processes effectively and integrate them seamlessly into your business processes.

PI Down Payments enables users to handle down payments in a structured and precise manner, e.g. project down payments can be managed independently of specific project tasks, facilitating the distribution of down payments across multiple project tasks at final settlement. Similarly, down payments can be managed independently of the individual order lines, so that subsequent changes to the order lines do not require the original down payment to be canceled.

PI Down Payments supports the following processes:

Posting the down payment request
The solution enables accurate account assignment of the requested down payment to ensure correct posting.

Creation of the down payment invoice
Create invoices for requested down payments with a defined number range and use a dedicated sub-ledger account for detailed tracking.

Posting of incoming payments
The app records incoming payments and automatically performs a transfer posting. 

Posting the final invoice
When the final invoice is created, the advance payments received are reversed.

All of this is achieved within the familiar Business Central environment, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience.
