Global Task Monitoring in Qlik Cloud

Qlik Cloud recently introduced Global Task Monitoring, a new feature that makes it easy to monitor tasks and task chains.

A new feature in Qlik Cloud now makes it easier to ensure the smooth operation of data pipelines. To this end, Global Task Monitoring has been introduced, providing a centralized overview of task activity across the entire tenant.

With the new monitoring feature, historical task executions can be quickly analyzed, errors identified, and the source of a problem traced – directly within the Qlik Cloud environment. This provides a central place where the status and health of tasks and task chains can be monitored. Users no longer need to rely on external tools or switch back and forth between multiple views.

The newly released version focuses on providing clear transparency and faster troubleshooting. This allows problems to be identified earlier and keeps data workflows running reliably.

Upcoming versions of Global Task Monitoring will further expand the existing features, including:

• More interactive task management that allows you to take action directly from the monitoring view
• Visual representations of task chains (e.g. tree views) to better understand dependencies and workflows
• Additional features to further simplify monitoring and large-scale operations

The core functionality is already available today. Global Task Monitoring thus brings operational transparency directly into Qlik Cloud and helps you maintain control over data tasks without having to leave the platform.
