Today, data is one of the key drivers of sustainable business success – and artificial intelligence is opening up entirely new opportunities to fully harness its potential. With the “Agentic Experience”, Qlik is launching a platform that combines data analysis, AI, and automation in a conversational environment.

For many years, companies have been optimizing their use of data to make informed decisions and achieve sustainable results. As a result, data has become a key success factor, while artificial intelligence is opening up entirely new opportunities for value creation. The trend in data management is increasingly moving away from traditional dashboards and visual interfaces toward AI-based forms of interaction.

New agent-based AI experience at Qlik

As part of this initiative, BI provider Qlik recently unveiled its new “Agentic Experience,” which, in addition to an MCP server, offers ready-to-use agents for structured data analysis, unstructured information management, anomaly detection, and various support functions. Furthermore, third-party providers are enabled to integrate Qlik’s capabilities for customized AI solutions. The resulting intelligent platform thus combines data, agents, assistants, and other components to deliver sophisticated analyses, automate multi-step processes, and effectively support complex business objectives.

Specifically, the Qlik Agentic Experience provides a central, conversational interface for data preparation and analysis. Qlik Answers delivers fast, transparent, and context-aware responses. Furthermore, the solution enables secure use of external LLMs with validated Qlik data via the MCP server and offers specialized agents for automating analyses and actions. Users can continue to work in their preferred AI interface.

Qlik continues to leverage its core competencies, such as its trusted data products based on high-quality, controlled data, its unique analytics engine for fast, incremental calculations, and an open, agent-based architecture.

With the introduction of the Qlik Agentic Experience…

Qlik Answers becomes a unified agent-based AI assistant that combines structured and unstructured data with the power of AI-driven knowledge and the ability to deliver insights, assistance, and automation.

… the Qlik MCP Server makes Qlik’s capabilities available to third-party AI assistants to develop customized agent-based solutions based on curated data and the unique analytics engine.

… the Discovery Agent provides always-on detection of anomalies and changes, proactively highlighting meaningful, high-priority outliers and anomalies via a simple insights feed. … the data products in Analytics extend data and quality capabilities to the analytics workflow, thereby strengthening the foundation for agent-based AI.
